Pearls, and only pearls? If so, then I don’t know about June’s ideal, but it sure touches a few bases around mi casa.
You don’t strike me as a pearls kind of person. Other jewels yes, pearls no.
The June Clever “ideal” has ruined all the men born from 1952 – well, now. Most are spoiled babies who act like they can’t do anything for themselves and it’s all their Mothers’ fault! They raised spoiled boys. (few exceptions may apply)
The thing I like about the June Cleaver Ideal is that it takes the role of homemaker seriously. You wouldn’t dream of showing up at the office in your pj’s and slippers with your hair a mess. Vacuuming in a dress with nylons, heels and pearls kind of gives the job more dignity. Not that I’ve ever done it.
And when you’re done vacuuming your place, c’mon over and vacuum mine! ::evil grin::
