Is CNN Forbidding Pro-Sarah Comments?

I made my first comment on CNN’s Political Ticker. It was a post about Sarah Palin and all the comments were your typical libtard insanity. Then I posted this:

How can anyone say “scientist” with a straight face after they’ve been proven to be nothing but politicians?

I support Sarah Palin. I think she’s certainly a lot smarter than all of the libtards who post here about “science” when what they mean is “wealth distribution” from the wealthy west to the poorer countries.

Socialism is evil. That is all the environmentalist movement is – unalloyed socialism.

When I submitted, I was informed that my comment was awaiting moderation.

Fair enough – I moderate my comments too. But it hasn’t shown up yet and I wonder if there are any other positive Sarah comments that aren’t getting approved. The vast majority are the gems like, “Sarah Palin is a cow.” So we’ll see what CNN judges to be worthy of being on their website.

CNN: Not Accurate, Not Fake, Just Careless

CNN Befuddles Blogger; Get The T-Shirt!

I do not understand the wisdom of automatically printing headlines to t-shirts, a service that is now available on CNN.com. Simply click the little t-shirt icon beside a headline, and voila, “Country Considers Four Day Workweek” on a t-shirt can be yours for only $15. Like so:

I suppose if they goof up, it might be funny…for a day or two. And if there is a significant world event, such as a terror attack, one could possibly want to memorialize the event, but in a t-shirt? I’m not saying I approve, but I could kinda sorta almost see that. But the much more mundane headlines simply confound me: “Family Has Third Baby To Save Son’s Life.” Is there anyone in the world who wants to wear that blazoned across his or her chest?

I give them credit for thinking – this indeed is a pretty revolutionary way to get your week-old news. And it would be at least a week old by the time you actually place the order and it’s shipped to you. I imagine the ensuing conversation to go like this:

Woman: Hey, did you know that Ted Kennedy died?
Man: No, when did you hear that?
Woman: Just now, on that dude’s t-shirt.
Man: Damn, that’s sad.
Woman: Totally. Hey, are you in the mood for some Pinkberry?

Do You Worry About The FBI Spying On You?

CNN has a survey on the front page titled “Do You Worry The FBI Is Spying On You?”  As of 2:47 EST, the results are:

Yes   25%
No    75%
A full quarter of people who visit CNN are worried they have something the federal government wants?  This is fascinating to me.  What could it be that you have?  Knowledge of terrorist activity?  Big drug shipments?   What?
Trying to talk people out of paranoia will never work.  And who knows, maybe 25% of the people who read CNN really are suspects in some sort of federal issue being pursued by the gov.   Maybe to help our intelligence and law enforcement agencies “connect the dots”, CNN should voluntarily hand over all metrics on who visits their website.
